Attorney Wanda L. Justesen
For over 20 years, Justesen Disability Law office has been rendering thorough, hard - fought, individual legal services to thousands of persons who have applied for Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits (SSDI) and Social Security Income Benefits (SSI). This is our only business and we understand your situation.
Prior to becoming an Attorney, I worked for the Social Security Administration as a Vocational Examiner/Adjudicator, where I learned how to evaluate medical conditions, as well as social security procedures from their arguable point of view. Together with my staff, we have a combined 50 plus years of experience in Social Security Disability Law. I am also the mother of a disabled child and have personally engaged in this battle. I know the toll it takes on you when you try to do this on your own. I can offer you both personal and professional experience because I have fought for social security disability from both sides of the law. I understand your struggle and I will support you throughout this process.
EXPERIENCE:
I have been a solo practitioner from 1989 to the present and I am dedicated exclusively to Social Security Disability Law.
I was a Vocational Disability Examiner for Social Security Administration for 2 years and Social Worker for 15 years.
EDUCATION:
Juris Doctor, University of Connecticut School of Law, May 1989
Master of Science in Counseling, University of Hartford, January 1983
MEMBERSHIPS:
National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR)
MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society
Lupus Foundation of America
